![]() ![]() ![]() The best apps don’t do this, making the case for going pro in subtler ways. Others pepper the editing space with distracting ads. Few ads and no nagging to upgrade: Some nominally free apps spam you incessantly, trying to get you to upgrade.Support for TIFF, PNG, and other formats is welcome, too. Raw is still a niche concern for mobile-first photographers, but Apple and Google are beginning to make it more accessible for the average person, so it will become more important going forward. Ability to handle multiple formats: Few mobile apps can directly edit raw images, but we prefer those that can. They also allow you to save your edits as a profile so that you can easily apply those edits to other photos in the future. Quality filters and presets: This is subjective, obviously, but the best editing apps provide more attractive filters and presets (and a wider range of them) for those who don’t want to spend a ton of time tweaking each photo. If an editing app retains both the individual edit steps and the slider positions for each adjustment, even after being closed and reopened, all the better. Powerful edit-history functionality: You should be able to make changes without permanently changing the source image, and you should be able to move forward and backward through the edit timeline if you change your mind about edits later on.The best editing apps provide finer granularity without sacrificing usability, make it easier for you to understand the effects of edits with before-and-after comparisons, and maximize your view of the photo without hiding necessary controls. Ease of use: The best photo editing apps have fluid, easy-to-navigate interfaces that make it simple for you to find the settings you’re looking for, adjust the things that need fixing, and send your finished photos where you want them to go.They should also produce good-looking results and be able to effectively correct problems in your original photos. But just having a lot of adjustments isn’t enough. Generally speaking, the more options an editing app provides, the more we like it, as long as the interface isn’t too cluttered. The best go further to offer stuff like healing brushes, a histogram, curves, split toning, layers and masks, correction for chromatic aberration, and more. Powerful adjustments and great-looking output: Most photo editing apps offer the basics, such as brightness, contrast, and sharpening. ![]() ![]() Peeta, meanwhile, is held captive by the Capitol, being used to try to stop Katniss and suppress the growing revolution that she has started. Adware is also generally known to track its victim’s web surfing history, which isn’t good news for anyone affected either. The drive-by infections delivered along with Popcorn Time can as well trigger transitional windows that randomly pop up and slow down the browser. In addition to that, a virtual layer can be added to Safari, Chrome and Firefox on the infected Mac, leading to an influx of comparison shopping sections, coupons, banners and in-text ads injected into pages. More specifically, Mac users may start encountering issues like unauthorized modification of browser preferences, which results in redirects of web traffic to junk search engines and ecommerce sites. When installed, this variant of the program is likely to hijack the clients’ web browsers, serve superfluous ads on websites and even lead to identity theft. The more recent reincarnation of Popcorn Time, therefore, is a potential security problem that users are bound to deal with. Hard to believe. For the testing conducted in this article, I withdrew the Kel-Tec from my IWB holster, unloaded the magazine and chamber, blew away the pocket lint, and started shooting. It’s about 15 years old, and has literally shot just about every type of 9mm ammunition I could throw at it with near 100% reliability. Here’s a roll-up of the Glock 17 and Canik TP9SFX data: (click/tap to enlarge) The Glock 17 (with same Bear Creek Arsenal threaded barrel) shot *slightly* better without the suppressor, but not enough to make a difference for what I have planned. This setup (Glock 17 and Osprey 45 suppressor) is the result I cared about most for this load since it’s the setup I plan to use to shoot subsonic 9mm most frequently (at least, until I get a threaded barrel for the Canik TP9SFX!). ![]() The following is a summary of this testing. I shot 5-shot groups for each pistol (multiple sets) until things settled down and “round groups” were observed. ![]() ![]() Cuz a lot of us love to believe in magic, but harsh reality is creepin'. That's not even going into bad game mechanics, getting zerged, etc, just talking about issues related exchanging information with the server.Įdit: basically each time they try to do the 1 server thing and fuck it up, I think it makes more people leave the game. The game is doing well to hold on to the people it has given how bad the mechanical state is. But I also wonder about their ability to get two distinct servers running well. Like I said before, I don't look forward to training up a new char, but if they made 2 distinct servers each w/ their own world, TC, broker, and char, it would be for the best considering all other possibilities. The alts themselves are bad for the game, but especially now that there's only 1 alt which means infinite log ins from one to the other (and main is down right now afaik? or you can't log in, or I wouldn't be posting on these forums haha.) That's the problem. According to Steam Charts, yesterday Valheim hit a milestone of 502,387 concurrent players, putting it up there with some pretty massive games. I was fuckin' around in jungle and even unlocked frames cuz I kept going to 53 from 60 (I lock frames at 120 anyway cuz MO is a gpu burner haha), anyway even at 120-90 (1080 med/low settings) it would still chop the same as from 60-53. Not bad for a dev team of only five people. Make the game not lag, fix desync between the two servers they have. YEAH THE GAME WOULD BE FINE w/ 5k PEOPLE ON 1 SERVER, but. If they'd stop derping the 1 server thing which like I said doesn't seem like it's ever gonna work. People camping instances ready to log into main if shit gets real, people logging into spots that have TC, it's just bad mojo. They should have really made it so you can only log to/from an alt-main w/ a 10 sec log out timer. ![]() They need to separate them though.Īlts are aids for exploit gameplay. They might wanna just settle into 2 servers tbh. I'm doubting this is going to happen any time soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() From the start of each match, good rapport between players is extremely important to winning the game. Although it might sound like advice from Captain Obvious, playing as a team is necessary to rise to victory. Let’s take a moment to change the subject. I’ve won several matches with a Prince or Battle Ram pushing an Ice Golem, and it’s one of my favorite strategies. They have the highest movement speed in the game, and can provide two functions: simply as a lone attacker to charge across the victory line, or as a way to push slow high HP units forward onto enemy lines. Elite Barbarians or the Lumberjack play an important role in the game, but even more powerful are cards that charge, like the two princes and the Battle Ram. Units with high speeds are very powerful in Touchdown mode, and can be compared to the running back position in Football. Precise timing can be a decisive skill to launch your troops to victory. Particularly devastating are the Ice and Lightning spells, since they can eliminate buildings or units if placed right when they are needed. You will rejoice, or lament, when well placed spells hit units just as they come dangerously close to the victory line. Spells have always been cards that can single-handedly win a match if used in the right moment, but in Touchdown mode that power is tenfold, since launching a timely spell can win you points. This can be dangerous when they are close to the victory line and explode, with at least one unit likely ending up directly onto the other side of the line. Their high HP is reason enough to celebrate or fear them, depending on whose hand they’re in, but one of their greatest strengths in this game mode is their ability to transform into many units at once. Pay attention to units that sprout other unitsĬards like the Golem, Lava Hound, or to a lesser extent the Battle Ram can be key to winning each match. It never hurts to keep a tower in your hand to provide a last minute save as one of these units nears our line, gaining valuable time to pull out a victory. Although we can surround these units with hundreds of little creatures, that’s not always going to be the most effective way to stop them. Without towers or a castle, the use of building cards to survive units that don’t target other units is critical. If you are able to draft it, do so without hesitation. ![]() Of course it can be stopped by buildings or other units, but it’s nearly unstoppable in counterattacks. It’s not yet clear whether or not this was a wise decision, but it’s probably the most powerful card in the new game mode. It seems that Supercell has changed their minds, and Hog Riders have made their way into the final version. When talking about the new Touchdown game mode, it’s worth mentioning that Hog Riders were not going to be included. This advice is nothing new, but you have to keep it in mind when moving into Touchdown mode. It might seem cliche, but it’s essential that you don’t fill your deck with high cost cards, and that you don’t forget to include a few buildings and towers. As a result it’s fundamental to choose the ideal cards for this game mode, something completely different from previous game modes. Let’s start with the most obvious: when it comes to selecting our cards, it can be challenging to draft your composition at the start of each match. ![]() |
